Your phone, answered. Day and night.
Hooked Line puts an AI front desk on the number your customers already call. It answers in your shop's name, books the job, gets emergencies to your on-call tech and texts you a summary.
When you're on a roof, under a house or asleep, the call goes to voicemail — and the job goes to whoever answers.
Live on your line in four steps.
We learn your shop
A short call about your services, service area, hours, on-call rotation and how you like jobs booked.
We build your front desk
Scripts written for your trade, tested with emergency calls and callers trying to talk it into a deal.
Forward your number
Keep the number on your truck and your cards. Calls forward after hours, on overflow, or all the time.
Get the summary
Every call is answered and summarized. You get a text; jobs land on your calendar and job board.

Answers like it works for you. Because it does.
Answers in your name
“Thanks for calling Parks Heating.” Your shop, your greeting, your service area.
Emergencies first
Gas, smoke or CO: safety instructions first, then your on-call tech is flagged right away.
Books the job
Collects the details your techs need and books into the times you choose.
Texts you a summary
Who called, what they need and what was booked — before you’re back in the truck.
Caller records & job board
Every caller and job in one place, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Reviewed every night
We check calls nightly and tune your front desk every month as your shop changes.
It protects your name first.
Every Hooked Line front desk is built with the same rules, and every build is tested with emergency calls and callers trying to talk it into a deal before it goes live.
Get everyone outside now and call 911 from outside.
Then it flags your on-call tech and ends the call.
What this replaces.
Look at what’s already coming out of your account every month to do a worse job of this.
The after-hours answering service
A stranger reading off a script, taking a message, charging you per call. Ask them how many of last month’s calls turned into a booked job. They don’t know.
Voicemail
Which is just a slower way to lose the call. Most people don’t leave one — they call the next guy on the list.
The booking link you never send
Scheduling with real rules: your hours, your blackout dates, how many installs you’ll take in a day, how much notice you need. The caller books inside those rules or doesn’t book.
The notepad by the phone
Every caller becomes a record with their address, their equipment, and what you did last time. The line recognizes a repeat customer by their number.
We don’t replace your Jobber.
Or your Workiz, your ServiceTitan, your QuickBooks. Those are yours and they work. We sit in front of them and answer the phone — the one thing they don’t do.
Built for shops where a missed call is a lost job.
Heating & HVAC
No-heat calls at 2 a.m., furnace and boiler service, seasonal rushes.
Plumbing
Burst pipes, frozen lines, water heaters — urgent calls routed fast.
Electrical
Outages, panels, service calls, with safety-first screening.
RV repair
No-heat and no-power calls from the road, mobile vs. shop service, rig details captured up front.
Roofing
Storm-season surges and leak calls while crews are up top.
Restoration
Water, fire and mold calls that can’t wait until morning.
Property management
Tenant maintenance lines, after-hours triage, vendor dispatch.
Vacation rentals
Guest calls about access, heat and water, day and night.
Cleaning companies
Quote requests, recurring bookings and turnover cleans — answered while your crews are on the job.
From the one-truck shop to the multi-location operator. Larger teams often start with after-hours and overflow.

Chase texting turns on once carrier registration for your line is approved.
Pay your first three months up front and your setup fee drops by $1,000.
We’d rather not guess your usage and bake a padded number into your plan. You can start with as little as $25–$50 of usage. Talk time and texts are billed to your own card at posted rates, and you pay for the minutes and texts you actually use.
You get a usage estimate at signing, text alerts at $50 and $100 of monthly usage, and a usage line on every invoice. Inbound calls are never capped, so an emergency call never gets cut off.
We start with the phone.
Because that’s where the money is leaking hardest. Once the front desk is solid on your line, there’s more we turn on — one piece at a time, when you’re ready for it, not all at once on day one.
The call that didn’t book
Somebody calls, doesn’t leave a message, doesn’t call back. Right now that’s just gone.
The follow-up you meant to do
The quote you sent nine days ago. The customer who said “call me in the spring.”
The review you never asked for
Job’s done, truck’s gone, nobody asks.
The maintenance you’re owed
That furnace you serviced in October wants seeing in October again. Your customer doesn’t have a calendar for that. We do.
The equipment you’ve touched
Every unit, every address, every model number — so the next call about that house starts with what you already know.
None of this replaces you. It replaces the parts of the day you were never going to get to.
Straight answers.
Do I have to change my phone number?+
No. You keep your number. Calls forward to your front desk after hours, when you’re busy, or all the time — your choice.
Will callers know it’s automated?+
It answers naturally in your shop’s name. If a caller asks, it tells them plainly that it’s an automated front desk.
What happens with a real emergency?+
If a caller reports a gas or fuel smell, smoke, a burning smell or a CO alarm, it tells them to get everyone outside and call 911 from outside, flags your on-call tech, and ends the call. It is not a replacement for 911.
Will it quote prices or promise arrival times?+
Never. It won’t quote prices, promise arrival times, or agree to discounts or deals. Those go to you as a callback.
How is usage billed?+
Your monthly fee covers the service. Usage (talk time and texts) is billed separately to your own card, so we never have to guess your usage or overcharge you for it. You can start with as little as $25–$50 of usage, and you pay for what you actually use. You get an estimate at signing, alerts at $50 and $100 of monthly usage, and a usage line on every invoice.
Will you text my customers?+
Only when they ask for it or agree to it on the call — like a booking confirmation or a callback. Every text includes opt-out instructions, and replying STOP ends them.
Who is it for?+
Heating and HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, restoration, cleaning companies, property managers and vacation rentals — from one-truck shops to multi-location operators.
Where are you located?+
We’re based in Alaska, starting on the Kenai Peninsula. Thanks to the internet and Zoom, we can support clients from almost anywhere.
Started in Alaska. Built to serve like a neighbor.
“I’ve been the customer on the other end of that call.”
One night I woke up at 1 a.m. to a busted boiler. I couldn’t get hold of anyone. When I finally did, it took hours for someone to answer, because half the town’s boilers had gone down too. The first shop that picked up got the job. Automated or not, I didn’t care. At least I’d heard from someone.
It happened again when a power surge blew out my breakers. And again when I needed my roof and my fence done. Every time, the first one to answer got the work.
That’s why Hooked Line exists. Good shops lose jobs every day just because nobody could get to the phone. We make sure someone always answers.
Our mission is to connect local businesses to every opportunity that calls, at any hour.
We start in Alaska and grow market by market, and every front desk is built so we can support it from anywhere.
Answer first
The first shop to pick up usually gets the job. We make sure that’s you, at 1 a.m. or 1 p.m.
Safety before sales
A caller in danger hears how to get safe first. Then your on-call tech hears about it.
Protect your name
Your front desk speaks for your shop like you would. No deals, no promises you didn’t make.
Tell it straight
It says it’s automated when asked. You pay for the usage you actually use. No guessing, no padding.
Stop losing jobs to voicemail.
Fifteen minutes. We’ll walk through your calls and show you what your front desk would sound like.
